The right words

Exodus chapter 34 verse 6
"I am Jehovah, the merciful and gracious God," He said, "slow to anger and rich in steadfast love and truth."

Words are amazing and when used properly can speak directly to what our thoughts need to hear. There will always be something that grabs our interest and draws us in. It could be the ad you saw and now feel the need to respond or it could be following the crowds, wanting to know what all the hubbub is about. The biggest draw is food and water, for our bodies need them to survive. People are also drawn to entertainment and travel. Combine the two and people will come. There are costs involved and those get passed on to the people who attend. Not everyone can afford these things so they make up their own ways to satisfy their need for joy. For example taking food with us as we go visiting or camping or out on the boat or for a picnic etc..... There are so many ways that we seek to bring joy and peace to our lives. Crowding can be an issue because there are lots of people who want to seek the same joy we want. It is hard not to get frustrated in the traffic jams or parking lots. Long line ups can try our patience then add the weather and attitudes may get flared up. God saw it happen with Adam and Eve when they took a bite of the delicious fruit. All through out the bible God is warning people not to loose focus of Him and His wonderful love for us. The old ways of showing faith to God were not working, so He sent His Son who used miracles of healing and provision, along with telling people that it is God working through Him. Jesus has what is needed. By following after Jesus you will find contentment for your soul. You will find yourself wanting to be with Him and drawn to His teachings. The words He speaks are love for life and others. God's love will fill your life as you seek His Son, realizing that He was sent to help you. Now when you go out you are taking God with you and you will be able to have the right words to speak and you will not care about the pressures of life for your focus is on bringing God to all people. Your patience will be seen and your wisdom will be helpful and you will see that God is using you to reach others who need to know Him also.
