The Impossible

Psalms chapter 40 verse 16.
But may the joy of the Lord be given to everyone who loves Him and His salvation. May they constantly exclaim, "How great God is."

We laugh at bizarre things. You know those stories that are too far fetched to believe in. To us they seem unexplainable so we brush them off with criticism, sarcasm, and a shrug of the shoulders. And if the story persists we make up reasons as to why they can't be true, maybe going as far as using science to break apart bits and pieces making the story unbelievable. For example who would ever believe that a donkey could talk or that a sea could be split in two and controlled at a whim. Who would believe that one person designed an ark and then was prepared when the world was flooded. How about an army loosing a battle when an on looker let his arms fall to his side but when friends helped support his arms and held them high the army was winning. How about hearing that many armies have come together to defeat you and you find them all destroyed because you sang a song of hope. How about hearing someone tell you that you can have eternal life or witnessing thousands of people being fed food when they know there was none to be had and that miracle happened twice. There are so many other stories like this in the bible. They are the stories of God and His love for people. The bible does start off with a story that we can see and take hold of and that is the creation of the earth and the stars. It even states in the first page that humans have been created by God. So what is the purpose of knowing God and believing in such amazing feats? It is the hope that the examples above and the many others spoken about in the bible, are true. That He is, who He says He is. There are testimonies from people today who have had unexplainable things happen to them and they believe that the only way they could have happened is from God. There are also many people who do believe God exists and that their lives are touched by Him daily. I too believe in God and His love for people. I believe that Jesus is the son of God and that He came to tell everyone that God wants us to believe He is real and to trust Him to love and keep us safe. God wants our love and praise, He does not want us to wander through life without knowing Him. He wants people to live with Him, to talk to Him and call upon Him for wisdom and strength. If you are to read the bible, you will learn of what life with God was like and is like today. He is forgiving and loving to those who seek after Him through knowing Jesus. The old is gone and the possibilities are all new. Let God touch your life and experience His unexplainable love.
Thank-you Father for Your Son and salvation.😊

Numbers chapter 22 verse 28.
Then the Lord caused the donkey to speak! "What have I done that deserves your beating me these three times?" she asked.

Exodus chapter 3 verse 2.
"When Moses saw that the bush was on fire and that it did not burn up, he went over to investigate."

Mark chapter 6 verse 2 and 3.
Jesus went to the synagogue to teach and the people were astonished at His wisdom and His miracles because He was just a local man like themselves. "He is no better than we are," they said. "He is just a carpenter, Mary's boy and a brother of James and Joseph, Judas and Simon. And His sisters live right here among us." They were offended!
