Individuality

John chapter 14 verse 20.
"When I come back to life again, you will know that I am in My Father and you in Me and I in You."

In the Old Testament, we read that God came and visited with Abraham and had a coffee with him. Then we read of Moses and God using a pillar of fire to guide. We read of the pillar of fire blocking the tent entrance as Moses went inside and spoke to God. Then we learn that the people and the animals were to avoid the mountain for this was the Holy ground where God was to meet with Moses. In 1 Kings we read that Elijah traveled many miles to hide in a mountain cave, where God found him and asked "What are you doing here?" The Old Testament is all about God and the struggles people have had with finding their way to live lives that trusted God and loved Him as their Father. God changed all that when He sent Jesus. No longer did people have to look for and search out God, trying to live in His good favor and always failing. When Jesus came He said "Follow Me." Through Jesus, God has made the way clear for all people to come to Him. It's like once God was hard to get to and people had to work really hard to get the proper favor with God. God wanted to break down the walls that separated Him from others and the answer was Jesus. Jesus speaks of letting go of all your troubles and trusting in God. Jesus invites everyone to come to God and live with Him. The doors have been opened and all who come and believe in what Jesus is saying, are welcome. It can be hard sometimes to get the things we want in life and sometimes they are out of our reach because of security and political reasons. However if someone comes along who has the authority to let you in and guides you in the right direction then you will be no longer struggling on your own trying to find a way but will be welcome. That is the way our lives have been up to now. Trying to do things on our own and getting frustrated time and time again. You can have the wonderful gift of Jesus---peace of mind and heart! So don't be troubled or afraid of reaching out to Jesus, but trust in Him to bring you home where you belong. To the life God wants you to have. Accept His invitation, God is waiting.
Thank-you Father for whispering your love in a gentle voice. 😊

John chapter 14 verse 2 and 3.
"There are many homes up there where My Father lives and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with Me where I am."

1 Kings chapter 19 verse 12.
"And after the fire, there was the sound of a gentle whisper."

Joshua chapter 6 verse 5.
"Then when they give one long, loud blast, all the people are to give one mighty shout and the walls of the city will fall down."
(Like our lives we finally get to the point where we give one mighty shout out for help and down come the walls to reveal the welcoming arms of Jesus)
