God's grace

Philippians chapter 4 verse 8.
"Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and dwell on the fine good things in others. Think about all that you can praise God for and be glad about it."

What is Grace? Is it the elegant way you walk or speak? Maybe it is the prayer that is said before eating a meal. I like to think of grace as being the undeserving forgiveness and love that God brings into someones life. Once we receive His grace then we extend that same grace to others. Our minds are very complex and we can be overwhelmed by all the stuff that we think about. Relationships, future, hopes, dreams, school, work, enough food, vacations, seasons, house, car....The list can be never ending. We hear all the time about how we should make time to give ourselves the balanced rest it needs in order to have peace and to be able to continue on thinking clearly. Most people find it is best to step away from the hustle and bustle of life and relax our thoughts. Some find it relaxing to read a book, some find it relaxing to have a coffee and a smoke, some like the views of water or gardens. The underlying goal is to get that needed rest which can help us cope with all the stuff that daily living brings. The stresses of life are nothing new. We each have our own things that we have to deal with and it is those things that consume our thoughts. So we need to be aware of others and what they are dealing with or else a simple interaction between two people who are dealing with their own thoughts can cause havoc and anger. How is living with God's grace a blessing? God's grace is the forgiveness shown to us by God when He sent His Son, Jesus, to free mankind from wrong living and to tell them they can find peace and favor with God. When someone turns to God and asks for His help and truly believes that God can help them, that is when God gives His grace upon their life. Once God's grace enters your life then you will see the love of Jesus and how through Him we can come to live in God's presence. God's grace is His love for you and now that you have come to Him it is also His "favor" upon your life. His wish is to bless you for your faith in Him and Jesus. You will be so thankful to Him for the softening of your heart and your new outlook upon life that His love will stand out in all you do. The joy you experience will bring your thoughts to rest as you bring your worries and concerns to Him as you trust in His promises. You are a joy to God and He is so thankful that you are praising Him and that you are seeking after Jesus. Rest and peace for your life can be found in the grace of God seen through the love of Jesus.
Bring your life before God and thank Him for Jesus and His grace. He is waiting for you to call. 😊
