A Secret?

Isaiah chapter 49 verse 9.
"Through you I am saying the prisoners of darkness, 'Come out!' I am giving you your freedom!

If someone was to come up to you and say they know someone who has tattooed your name upon their hand, would you not want to know who that person is and find out why your name is written on the palm of their hand? Then when you meet them, you hear them talking about never being hungry or thirsty again. They speak of being protected from the troubles that you deal with each day and how you can enjoy rest and peace. Would someone like that not get your attention? How is it that they know your name and can offer such freedom? These are the promises of God, who sent His son to tell us that what God is offering is true and that His promises are available to you. Jesus is telling everyone that God knows who they are and wants them to know that He is inviting them to come live with Him. In reality, it is hard for people to grasp hold of what is being said when they cannot physically see and confront who it is that knows them so well. But what if the promises being spoken are true, would you not want to know more? If they are true then that would change every way that you have been living. The worries and concerns you fight with each day would be fought with God's love. You would not be alone but have the wisdom and guidance that makes you aware of dangers. You even have the right thoughts that turn you away from potential harm and if you are caught in an unwanted situation you have the right words that bring glory and honor to God who watches over you. You do have to live by faith but faith is believing that something you want is going to happen. As a follower of Jesus who has taken my name and put it on the palm of His hand, I get joy in telling someone that they too can know the one knows them. God does not pressure us into coming to Him. He says "I'm knocking and want you to open the door and invite me in." When His door is opened you enter into a new relationship with Him and that starts a journey that will forever change your life. All around us are people who do not know what Jesus is offering and the life they can have with God. If given the opportunity to share God, let them know what you yourself have experienced since you opened the door of your heart.
What a joy to know that He knows my name and I get to call Him Father. 😊

"They shall never hunger nor thirst, the searing sun and scorching desert winds will not reach them any more. For the Lord in His mercy will lead them beside the cool waters."

"By faith--- by believing God---we know that the world and the stars---in fact, all things---were made at God's command and that they were all made from things taht can't be seen."
