Joyfully working.

Deuteronomy chapter 10 verses 12 and 13.
"And now Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you except to listen carefully to all He says to you and to obey for your own good the commandments I am giving you today, and to love Him and to worship Him with all your hearts and souls?"

Believers have always had to work hard at being strong in their faith. God is unseen and cannot be touched but He is real and His creations and miracles are experienced everyday. So how hard is it really? To people who believe in God it is not hard at all to walk by faith. What is hard is the people they encounter who do not believe and who distance themselves so they miss out on knowing God. God brings direction and purpose to those who know Him. There is love in their hearts and the joy at having a place with God. You could say they have a spring in their step, that can be annoying to others. Following after God is a choice that people make and God encourages all people to take. No matter who we are, we all still face the same life choices each day but to people who believe in God and walk with Jesus, they believe that they are not alone. They believe that God is there with them always. God is not exclusive, that is why He sent Jesus so that all people would know that God loves them and wants to be their Father. He wants to be the person they trust, whom they look to for guidance and safe protection. From the beginning of time, God has always done amazing things, for example, the creation of the earth and heavens as well as creating the human body. In the bible we get to read about the interactions God has had with people. We can also see how people have separated themselves from God and how sad that makes Him feel. I am thankful that God is forgiving and that today I live in His presence all the time. A relationship with God is like coming home to the family you were separated from years before, who love you and welcome you with open arms. You do have a choice and can go in your own direction but God wants you to come to Him and to get to know Jesus. He is waiting for you to see that He has always been there wanting to love you and live with you. The proof is all around you and you will be amazed at what you will find when you reach out to God and get to know Jesus. God has said from the beginning "Trust in me"
Thank You Father for Jesus and your welcoming love.

Colossians chapter 3 verse 23 and 24.
"Work hard and cheerfully at all you do, just as though you were working for the Lord and not merely for your masters, remembering that it is the Lord Christ who is going to pay you, giving you your full portion of all He owns. He is the one you are really working for."

Ephesians chapter 2 verse 8 and 9.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is a gift from God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
