God's love

John chapter 3 verse 9.
"Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it will go next, so it is with the Spirit. We do not know on whom he will next bestow this life from heaven."

Do you feel like you are among the privileged because you have faith in God and believe that Jesus is God's Son who died and has risen again, returning to heaven? Do you see yourself as someone different than others because you believe that Jesus will someday return and take us all to live with Him? You should see yourself that way for it is a gift from God to be chosen by Him to bask and live in the light of His glory. Thinking this way is hard to accept and many people fall short of being able to get past having some control over their lives. Everyone falls short of meeting God's expectations but that is why Jesus came and why we live with the Holy Spirit. Jesus came to show us that God cares and wants us to live with Him. That God wants us to trust Him for everything. Not just when we need Him but all the time, from the smallest details to the larger decisions. God loves us and does not want us stressing out over things but to live with the joy that He has answered our prayers. God has even gone to the length to give the Holy Spirit to those who He see's are faithful to Him. The Holy Spirit protects us from the temptations of the world through wisdom and common sense. The Holy Spirit shows us God in all things and how thankful we are that God sent Jesus to show us the way to a life where we rely on God. Adam and Eve fell short of obeying God's wishes and so began the blame game. We are not perfect people and we do make mistakes but God will not leave us unprotected. Life with Him is separated from those who do not live with God. It is believing that there is no other place to be than living in the presence of God all day, everyday, forever.  Everyday whether at home or at work we have to live with rules and sometimes it is not easy to obey what is asked of us to do. When we walk with God we are guided by His love. Just think, God has known from the very beginning when Adam and Eve first went against His wishes that all mankind was going to struggle. It was because of His love that Jesus came and told us that we do not have to struggle so hard but that we can bring our troubles to God and He will show us what it means to live in joy filled with love for Him. When life seems like it is closing in around you, when you feel anger coming on, let the Holy Spirit do His work and change the feelings with words and thoughts of love and understanding. You will be thankful to God and others will see the wisdom and confidence you have in Jesus.
Thank-you Father for the joy of your love. 😊
