Challenges

Psalm chapter 34 verse 1.
"I will praise the Lord no matter what happens. I will constantly speak of His glories and grace."

How many challenges do we face in a day? Are they the things that pop up and we have to deal with or are they the constant drain we have on our minds as we fight the never ending battle to solve all the issues around us? It is not easy living with ourselves let alone asking someone else to share in all we carry. Being alone is no fun either, that only leads to finding ways to stifle our thoughts so we can rest. Our families have done a good job so far, raising us to face the world and it's demands. They listen to us as we spill our worries and concerns on to them. You may not be looking for an answer to solve the issues but at least you were able to release it from your mind and hear someone else's perspective. We all have to face daily living and the challenges it brings. How we handle our words and our thoughts helps us have the confidence we need to face anything. Putting too much thought into how to do something can be very draining and cause restless nights which leads to lack of sleep and makes us confrontational. I guess that is why we vent to people so that we can relieve our stresses onto others and not have to face them alone. Here is a statement often heard quoted; "All scenarios have been dealt with before, you're not the first this has happened to" but that is not helping me and how I will have to deal with what I am facing right now. The other part to all this is, that situations will always continue to happen and we will have to deal with them for our lifetime.  At the same time as there is lots on our minds we also get to experience laughter, joy and happiness. It is those times of feeling good that helps to offset the other times of dealing with stressful situations that bring on anxiety and restlessness. Why would you not want to be happy and at peace more often? God is the answer and Jesus is the way to know God. We can try to get by without God but to really experience what God offers we need to understand why He sent Jesus. Challenges will always be there but we can thank God for His love and the joy He brings to our lives. By trusting in God we have someone to talk to, someone who cares about our issues and loves us enough to watch over us and guide us. God sent Jesus to tell us that and to those who walk with Him He blesses with the Holy Spirit. Wow! That is a lot of support, let alone all the other believers in  the world.
Thank-You Father for your love and giving us somewhere to turn to. 😊
