Peaceful

Proverbs chapter 15 verse 16 and 19.
"Better a little with reverence for God, than great treasure and trouble with it."
"A lazy fellow has trouble all though life, the good man's path is easy."

I like hearing stories that have good endings. Like those children that were stranded in the cave in Thailand. Or that someone cared enough to get a dog out of a hot car. People do care and show compassion for one another and that is all good, but is it enough to get through life on? What do we do when we have to deal with sadness and frustration? Stifling those feelings does no one any good and many times we are not heard properly when we talk about our feelings. People may be there in times of trouble to help those in need but to give a listening ear and offer a word of compassion is hard to find. How we feel sets the tone of who we are so it is important that we feel at ease with our lives. If your day is filled with disruptions that you feel are caused by others, than you are probably going to lose it and say some things that will not help anyone. There are all sorts of influences that can cause us grief and frustration, for example the air conditioning breaks and is not being fixed on one of the hottest most humid days of the year. Or having a not so good conversation on the phone while driving and getting bad looks from others, or the near miss or the ticket that you did not need. I could go on and on with examples of how everyday life seems to be the cause of our issues but that is not the point. God is what I want to talk about. He sent Jesus to show us that we are not alone to deal with our problems. Jesus gave His life so that we could have a way of coming to God and asking Him to help us as we trust in His promises. God wants you to come to Him so that He can be with you and that you will look to Him for love. God is amazing. He listens to us and understands who we are and what we are dealing with. He gives us the strength to face our issues. He gives us the right words to speak at the right times so that we know His presence and others gain from what was said. God is all about our peace so that glory and honor can be given to Him through the joy and love you feel. Each day you will get the support you need because you take the time to start your day with prayer, coming to God with your fears and worries, maybe even reading a bit of His word. Now you can face life knowing God is with you. You will have right thoughts that keep your heart quiet and do things that you know are from God. You can't help but want to give Him thanks, as your family, your friends and your work are touched by His presence. Let the love of God hug you and hold you close and give you purpose.
Thank-you Father 😊

John chapter 15 verse 9 and 11
"I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Live within my love."
"I have told you this so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your cup of joy will overflow!"

Ephesians chapter 5 verse 1
"Follow God's example in everything you do just as a much loved child imitates his father."

John chapter 3 verse 16 and 17
" For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it."
