No Longer alone.
Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verses 9-12. "Two can accomplish more than twice as much as one, for the results can be much better. If one fails, the other pulls him up, but if a man falls when he is alone, he is in trouble.
Also on a cold night, two under the blanket gain warmth from each other, but how can one be warm alone? And one standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back to back and conquer, three is even better, for a triple braided cord is not easily broken."
I am so Thankful to God for His Son, Jesus, and my salvation from my old life. I was lost and mixed up. I made the wrong decisions. I relied on my own ways of thinking which caused me to bounce all over the place, always struggling to catch back up.
God knows that people fail and are constantly seeking to find peace. He knows that they are not looking to Him for the direction they need, so He waits for the time when people can no longer stand the constant strain, life can give and turn to Him for help. Long ago God sent Jesus to let people know He is there and ready to walk with us, all we have to do is seek Him out and our lives will forever be changed. God is offering to be with us always, like a Father to their child. He will be there to watch over us, to keep us safe and to guide us.
There are a lot of times when I want to speak out, to say what is on my mind and I decide not to because by speaking out I may be creating more of a mess than there was before. "Stirring the Pot" so to speak. There are also times when I am curious and have questions, but fail to speak out for the fear of being embarrassed and only later to find out that others were thinking the way I was. For example last night at community group there was a reference made in the video we watched, to the curtain being torn and the comparison to Jesus dying on the cross. I was curious and hesitated to blurt out my thought. Well, I did bring up the reference only to find out that others had been thinking the same question. This led to the discussion of Jesus being our savior and when he died He took down whatever it is that blinds us or blocks us from seeing God.
There are a lot of times when we are hesitant to speak out but by asking ourselves "is what I want to say in line with God and His plan for helping people through Jesus?" Then when we do speak we find ourselves saying things that are helpful and filled with love. You may find that what is spoken maybe just what is needed and that they were hoping someone would come along with the right direction.
By starting my day in prayer and with God's word I find myself feeling loved and not alone. I feel I can call upon God throughout my day and get the support I need to confidently make the right decisions, to trust in God to guide my words and use me to represent Him as His child. I am so thankful to God for His Son, Jesus and to Jesus for the sacrifices He made for me. I can know that I am no longer alone but living in the presence of God, my Father.
It is no longer about me but about the life God has saved me from, through His Son Jesus.
