Being Prepared

Genesis 41 is the story of Joseph and by interpenetrating a dream He prepared for a future that could have been disastrous and how His own family rejection became a family of love.
It is proven over and over again that by not being prepared for something can cause us to miss out and be sad.
I have been taught my whole life to be prepared. Our mothers laid out our clothing for the day, they showed us how to prepare meals and how to put the laundry away so we knew where things were. At school I was taught to line up, that way there was some organization and control. My first job was a paper route and the papers were folded and ready for delivery. The simple task of being prepared  makes life easier. I like living that way because it brings peace of mind and healthier living. It can also bring respect and prosperity. For example because Joseph had interpenetrated the Kings dream and suggested being prepared for the rough years ahead, He was placed in charge of the whole countries affairs. So you see one simple act of being prepared can affect so many different areas of our lives. You will be the one who is prompt and ready to go or because you prepared you are the one people look to for the answers when needed. You are also the one who is prepared to welcome people into your home. We do not have to be spotless or without fault we just have to be happy with who we are and the lives we have. There is a wonderful life to be had just by putting a little effort into ourselves from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep. Our well being affects our joy, so instead of feeling overwhelmed, feel laughter and love. Take the time needed to pay attention to yourself and the life you live. Last minute rushing makes us forget and become frustrated. In Matthew 25, Jesus uses the illustration of the bridesmaids being prepared for their potential husband and of course some of them missed out because they were unprepared. God sees's that we struggle and become confused with everyday life. He see's that we are not trusting in Him for our well being. God sent Jesus to show people how much He loves us and wants to care for us. God wants our trust. He wants us to look to Him for direction so that we can have a life that is free from the distractions around us. A life where we can give Him the praise and thanksgiving for trusting in Him. Everything in our lives becomes much easier to deal with and all because with Him we can see clearly the paths we should be taking. Jesus said in John 14 verse 6, "I am the way, the truth and the life." He will lift us out of our struggles and failures into a life of peace and rest. Start your day with the word of God, be thankful to Him in prayer and whistle songs of praise for Jesus and the life you have, with God. All things will become clear and a joy will fill your heart for you are not alone.
Thank you Father for Your Son Jesus and for Your Holy Spirit who fills my days with wanting to be prepared.
😊
God promises to be with us always.
Isaiah 41 verse 10. "Fear not for I am with you, Be not dismayed for I am your God."

Luke 18 verse 7 and 8. "Don't you think that God will surely give justice to His people who plead with Him day and night? Yes, He will answer them quickly. But the question is: When I the Messiah return, how many will I find who have faith and are praying?"

Be Prepared.
