Rest.

1 Timothy chapter 6 verses 6-11.
"Do you want to be truly rich? You already are if you are happy and good. After all, we didn't bring any money with us when we came into the world and we can't carry away, not a single penny when we die. So we should be well satisfied without money if we have enough food and clothing. But people who long to be rich soon begin to do all kinds of wrong things to get money, things that hurt them and make them evil-minded and finally send them to hell itself. For the love of money is the first step toward all kinds of sin. Some people have even turned away from God because of their love for it, and as result have pierced themselves with many sorrows."

Being content with who we are and the life we have is a blessing from God. Be thankful to Him for His provisions, He gives us a life of peace where our hearts can be at rest.
I think everyone likes nice scenarios in their thoughts. They may differ from one person to the next, but we like to think of things that make us feel at peace. We like what brings a joy to our lives. It can be called an escape to where we can gather our thoughts, where we can shut out the things going on around us and ponder them before having to come back to reality. Whether it is day dreaming or an organized time of rest where we sit with a drink or close our eyes for a moment, all of us like doing it. Some people even find rest in organizing the next thing to be done, what ever way, it is a necessary part of keeping ourselves from "burn-out" or exhaustion. What rest does is refresh us to continue on. It can give us a new perspective and also may help to calm our emotions. Laid back people like to take things in stride, never letting anything get to them and when paired with knowledge a life like that can be beneficial. Restless people are anxious to move ahead and tend to be rushing all the time. They are able to get by, but seem to worry a lot about everything.
God encourages us to be rested and prepared to face every issue that comes before us with Him. He wants us to let go of thinking that we can do this on our own and to call upon Him for help. He wants us to trust in Him to provide for our every need and to be thankful to Him for His provisions. Instead of "I need to do this" or "I need to do that" and "try to fit in time for myself " , God wants us to put Him first in our days. He wants us to spend time with Him and then to trust in Him to walk with us, protecting us as He hears us when we call to Him for guidance. We are to be looking at Him constantly and standing out as His children. We are to be prepared to share Jesus and God with others who don't know Him. God loves each of us and wants us well rested and not stressed out.
He wants our love as He gives His love to us.

Thank-you Father for peace in life. 😊

Matthew chapter 11 verses 28-30.
"Come to me and I will give you rest--- all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear my yoke--- for it fits perfectly--- and let me teach you, for I am gentle and humble and you shall find rest for your souls, for I give you only light burdens."

James chapter 4 verses 13-16.
"Look here, you people who say, "Today or tomorrow we are going to such and such a town, stay there a year and open a profitable business" How do you know what is going to happen tomorrow? For the length of our lives is as uncertain as the morning fog--- now you see it, soon it is gone. What you ought to say is "If the Lord wants us to, we shall live and do this or that." Otherwise you will be bragging about your own plans, and such self-confidence never pleases God."

Proverbs chapter 3 verse 5 and 6.
"Trust in the Lord your God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all you do and He shall direct your paths."
