Confidence

2 Corinthians 12> Proverbs 22> John 3>

2 Corinthians 12 verse 10> Since I know it is all for Christ's good, I am quite happy about "the thorn" and about the insults and hardships, persecutions and difficulties; for when I am weak, then I am strong- the less I have, the more I depend on Him.
Confidence can be good, but it can also make us arrogant. Getting set in our ways can make us comfortable and relaxed. Our confidence is built around life becoming repetitive. "We are who we are and there is no changing that" Our emotions then have the opportunity to take over, for example stubbornness, anger, sadness, depression, all can come out when we become too confident in ourselves. I imagine that is the reason God tests us, He tests our faith with situations that play on our hearts and thoughts, for example temptation, failure, making mistakes, opinions, sickness and loss of life all can test our faith. God sent Jesus to show us that we are not alone, that God is with us and wants our eyes to be focused on Him. Sure we have emotions and have to deal with our aging bodies, but God wants us to see clearly, to be guarded and ready with Him by our side so that we can deal with the lives we have. He wants us to give Him our worries and anxieties, He wants our love and joy in our hearts so that we are at peace. That is when others will see Him in our lives and who knows maybe they will want to know more about Him. Thank-you Father for your love, for Jesus and the Holy Spirit.😊
John 3>8>  Jesus stated  "Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it will go next, so it is with the Spirit. We do not know on whom he will next bestow this life from heaven."
Isaiah 33> We do have a choice and we constantly have to make the right choices, maybe several times in a day, it can seem exhausting. God through His Son, Jesus, has shown us that we need to keep our eyes focused on Him, sure we have many choices to make and sure there is a never ending battle to be fought, but Jesus has shown us that we are not alone, God gives us the strength, the wisdom, the knowledge and the understanding to overcome life's issues. The result is a joy for God and His love for us. I am so thankful to not be alone but to be loved by God. 😊
