Welcome!

Come with Jesus and be welcomed by God.

Revelation chapter 5 verses 7 and 8.
He stepped forward and took the scroll from the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. And as He took the scroll, the twenty-four Elders fell down before the Lamb, each with golden vials filled with incense---the prayers of God's people!

God freely released the scroll to Jesus, His Son, our Savior.
It was only Jesus who could take the scroll and upon doing so, the Elders who were worshipping God, turned to Jesus and began worshiping Him. Not only that, the Elders brought along our prayers to give to the only one who could answer them.
Chapter 5 says; The Elders began to sing a new song. They changed from singing, " Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty---the one who was, and is, and is to come." to "You are worthy to take the scroll and open it. The Lamb is worthy---the Lamb who was slain. He is worthy to receive the power, and the riches, and the wisdom, and the strength, and the honor, and the glory, and the blessing."
It is only because of God's love for people that He sent Jesus to be our Savior. It is in our hope of living up to the expectations of God that we can find life in Jesus. Our Pastor asked the question, "What would it be like if there was no Jesus?"
The Bible tells us that Jesus was with God in the beginning of creation and that it was Jesus who did the work for God. When Jesus came to earth, He spent a lot of time in prayer, talking with God about anything and everything. And He encourages us to do the same. God is our heavenly Father who is there for us and ready to take us under His wing. He wants to hear your concerns, doubts and fears. He wants nothing more than to love upon you and have you love Him.
Jesus may have been the only one who could have taken the scroll from God, but thank God for His love for humanity. For it is only because of Jesus that people have forgiveness and the opportunity of life with God. Jesus is the only Way, the Truth and the Life. It is sad that not everyone loves God as His children do, but it is through the love of His children that people can come to know the love God has for them.
Jesus' life was about telling people about God and the wonderful love He has for them. The story in Revelation chapter 5 is that God was holding out this scroll and asking if there was anyone worthy of taking this scroll and opening it. But no one was able to and that left John sad for if no one could take the scroll than how could we find out what was on the inside? It was only when Jesus reached out and God freely released the scroll to Him that God's plan would be filled and only by the one He trusted.
We hear a lot about this Jesus guy. Are you someone to believe in a God? Those things are not real! They're stories and myths. Everyday people wonder and make crazy statements. The Bible is an amazing book that has been proven to have been written long ago. It is the story of the Creator of all things. The earth and all it's beauty and wonder. Our bodies and the time period that we are here. Our individuality and how we all are different. The universe and it's vast unending questions.
The Bible is the story of God and His love for all people. It's the story of God's saving grace through His Son, Jesus.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for revealing to those who seek You the truth of life with You.

John chapter 14 verse 6.
Jesus said to them; "I am the Way. Yes, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except by way of Me."

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 12.
Now we can come fearlessly right into God's presence, assured of His glad welcome when we come with Christ and trust in Him.

Psalms chapter 34 verses 9 and 10.
If you belong to the Lord, reverence Him, for everyone who does this has everything he needs. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing.
