Clearly seen!

What a difference when you can see clearly. Jesus can take what is fogged and make everything clear.

Jonah chapter 2 verse 9.
"I will never worship anyone but You! How can I thank You enough for all You have done? I will surely fulfil my promises. For my deliverance comes from the Lord alone."

How many people do you know who are Christians. I mean people who believe that Jesus is God's Son, and that through Him eternal life can be had.
When things work out for you, then you are happy and at peace. But when they don't, you struggle. Worry and anxieties cause us to try and control our surroundings so that we are aware of each outcome. Not caring about where you are or what situations you are getting yourself into is just as bad as trying to control your surroundings. Either way you are left wandering. You can't control what will come next. Hiding away does no one any good. Getting out there is better but it can be hurtful and misleading. God wants us to be involved but to do it with Him.
Paul in Romans chapter 6 tells us that there is a choice in who we follow. My reading today called it the two wolves that live inside us. They both want to be fed, so you choose which one to feed. Do you feed your good desires or do you let your bad choices lead you into places you would rather not be?
For many years I chose the wrong paths. I could see how others lived but I enjoyed the lifestyle of wrongful living. Did that make me a bad person? No, but it did lead me to do a lot of things I was ashamed of.
Once I realized that Jesus was my other choice and that through Him I could find a away out, then I wanted to know more. Yes it was cool to experience good, but the other side of me which I had fed for so many years does not want to let go. Even to this day, my thoughts and desires try to distract me from Jesus. So I pray to the one who gives me joy and peace.
I'd rather be focused on Him then always getting high everywhere I went, blurring out my thoughts and dulling my abilities. Most of the time I ended up alone and alone left me in my thoughts of insecurity. Being able to carry on a conversation, being interested in others and who they are, laughing, joking and thinking clearly was way better than the other lifestyle I had.
What I have found out is that troubles and calamity do not go away. Do your best to try and quickly move past each distraction, as you hold closely onto Jesus. Trust in God and not the thoughts that try to distract you. The world is filled with opinions and attitudes. Fight your battles with the one who can gve you a winning smile. Bring all of your concerns to Him. He has helped you before and will always be with you leaving you extremely thankful. It is the words of God given to us in the Bible that lead us to Jesus and walking along the paths of right living.
You do need to make decisions and it is always best to be informed, but are you doing it with God? Are you walking with Him in all you do? Trusting Him is the only way, in a world filled with so many options. You trusted in Him and asked for His help and you were able to overcome those addictions that had such a grip on your life. He has shown Himself to you continually over and over again, yet there is still uneasiness.
Instead of being confused and overwhelmed with what to do, reach out to Christ. It is proven through Him that God does what He says. So lean on Jesus and let the peace of God be where you want to be. When decisions need to be made, when circumstances are challenging, talk to Him first, and ask Him to be with you. And if you are still troubled then look harder to Him. It is your patience and praise for the life He has given you, that is way better than being distracted all the time. He will make clear what you need to see.

Psalms chapter 90 verses 12-17.
Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should. O Jehovah, come and bless us! How long will You delay? Turn away Your anger from us. Satisfy us in our earliest youth with Your lovingkindness, giving us constant joy to the ends of our lives. Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good. Let us see Your miracles again; let our children see glorious things, the kind You used to do, and let the Lord our God favor us and give us success.

John chapter 3 verses 18-21.
Jesus said; "There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust Him to save them. But those who do not trust Him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God. Their sentence is based on this fact: that the Light, from heaven came into the world, but they loved the darkness more than the Light, for their deeds were evil. They hated the heavenly Light because they wanted to sin in the darkness. They stayed away from the Light for fear their sins would be exposed and they would be punished. But those doing right came gladly to the Light to let everyone see that they are doing what God wants them to."

Matthew chapter 12 verses 22 and 23.
Then a demon-possessed man---he was both blind and unable to talk---was brought to Jesus, and Jesus healed him so that he could both speak and see. The crowd was amazed. "Maybe Jesus is the Messiah!" they exclaimed.

1 Peter chapter 2 verses 22-25.
Jesus never sinned, never told a lie, never answered back when insulted; when He suffered He did not threaten to get even; He left His case in the hands of God who always judges fairly. He personally carried the load of our sins in His own body when He died on the cross, so that we can be finished with sin and live a good life from now on. For His wounds have healed ours! Like sheep you wandered away from God, but now you have returned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls who keeps you safe from all attacks.
