Time to Learn.
Are you tired of struggling? God is the Light of Christ ready to bring you happiness.
Colossians chapter 3 verse 15.
Let the peace of heart which comes from Christ be always present in your hearts and lives, for this is your responsibility and privilege as members of His body. And always be thankful.
In Ecclesiastes King Solomon tries to guide people so that they will find their way with God in a world filled with many distractions.
He says, "I, the Preacher, was King of Israel, living in Jerusalem. And I applied myself to search for understanding about everything in the universe. I discovered that the lot of man, which God has dealt to him, is not a happy one. It is all foolishness, chasing the wind. What is wrong cannot be righted; it is water over the damn; and there is no use in thinking of what might have been."
"Do not long for the good old days, for you do not know whether they were any better than these."
"Enjoy prosperity whenever you can, and when hard times strike, realize that God gives one as well as the other---so that everyone will realize that nothing is certain in this life."
"Tackle every task that comes along, and if you fear God you can expect His blessing."
King Solomon in Ecclesiastes tries to teach that life has it's hardships as well as good times. He wants us to realize that it is all from God and if we hold onto Christ, He will lead us, protect us and show us the right paths to walk on. Sad times will happen and death is coming but with God we can have His peace and confidence that He is with us always.
Yes hard times will try to confuse you and mislead you, but that is the goal of distraction. To take your eyes off of Christ. Trusting in Christ is God's reassurance that you hold closely to Him, no matter what the world throws at us.
Psalms chapter 46 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a tested help in times of trouble. And so we need not fear if the world blows up, and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam; let the mountains tremble! There is a river of joy flowing through the City of our God---the sacred home of God above all god's."
So when someone is trying to take all that you have. When you are threatened, cheated or misused. Hold on to God. Talk to Him and expect His help. No one can take away the joy you have for Jesus and God's love. And He is way more powerful than any thing that may attack you.
Hold on tightly to the Scriptures. Read them morning and night. Let the words of God help you to live a right life, that is righteous to God.
In Matthew chapter 4 Jesus when being tempted responded with, "No! For the Scriptures tell us that bread will not feed men's souls: Obedience to every word of God is what we need."
By holding closely to God, Christ can lead us with a life that is pleasing to Him. All the goodness of God is given to us through Christ. Jesus was humble and stood up against great odds. We can too because God watches over His children.
Isaiah chapter 61 says, "For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrong. I will faithfully reward My people for their suffering and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants shall be known and honored among the nations; all shall realize that they are a people God has blessed."
As you walk and live with God, you will understand and see clearly His touch and protection upon your life.
Psalms chapter 119 says, "Nothing is perfect except Your words. Oh, how I love them. I think about them all day long. They make me wiser than my enemies, because they are my constant guide."
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your love and awesome experiences of each day. 😊
Psalms chapter 119 verses 105 and 106.
You words are a flashlight to light the path ahead of me, and keep me from stumbling. I have said it once and I will say it again and again: I will obey these wonderful laws of Yours.
Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 and 6.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.
Daniel chapter 2 verse 20.
Blessed be the name of the Lord forever and ever, for He alone has all wisdom and power.
