Is it time?

Should you take the steps towards Jesus? You will know when the time is right!

Romans chapter 3 verse 22.
And we can all be saved in this same way, by coming to Christ, no matter who we are or what we have been like.

Being with God means you are not a post sitter. You have chosen the side with God and you abide in the life He expects you to live by.
Lots of people do not like being tied to something for they think that they would not be free to do as they want to, when they want to. No one likes anguish and despair. People like to be in control of situations so that they are prepared for the outcome.
A life with God frees you from the anguish and worry of trying to have control. You are trusting in God to care for you and guide you through the trials and temptations. A life with God is totally the opposite of life without Him.
I had no idea how powerful God is. Each day was hit and miss. I took on the challenges of learning but I enjoyed the life of consumption. Good food, good drink and rock and roll. It was a fast paced life that was filled with stuff.
In Luke chapter 15 is the story of the son who returned home once all his funds had run out. His father welcomed him with open arms saying, "He was dead and has come back to life! He was lost and is found!"
The son may have not thought that he was dead or even lost, but the fact is his father did not hesitate to welcome him back home. The rules of home never changed. It is still the same place the son lived before moving out, so hopefully he gets along with the house rules.
In Luke chapter 17 is the story of Jesus healing 10 men from leprosy and only one of them came to Him with a grateful heart, thanking Him for what He had done.
God does not have to help you but He does offer to help you. He knows your needs but it is your thankful heart He wants to hear from. So if you do not step up and ask for His help then you will continue to live the way you have always lived. God has given us hope through His Son Jesus and by reaching out to Jesus you too can have your troubles healed.
Psalms chapter 20 says, "In your day of trouble, may the Lord be with you. May the God of Jacob keep you from all harm. May He send you aid from the sanctuary in Zion."
You will not see it coming and it is not something you can grasp onto, but His healing touch is powerful and He will amaze you with what He does for you, all because you reached out to Him.
Exodus chapter 15 says, "It was there at Marah that the Lord laid before them the following conditions, to test their commitment to Him: If you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and obey it, and do what is right, then I will not make you suffer the diseases I send on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you."
God is not just someone there to be at your beck and call when you want Him. He is a relationship with your heavenly Creator who wants His child to live in His presence filled with the joy of worshiping Him with praise and love.
That is why God is different from the way you used to live. Because He is the one watching over you, not you doing everything on your own. The peace you seek is found in His love for you.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your Spirit within. You are true life. 😊

Matthew chapter 2 verses 9-11.
The star appeared to them again, standing over Bethlehem. Their joy knew no bounds! Entering the house where the baby and Mary His mother were, they threw themselves down before Him, worshiping. Then they opened their presents and gave Him gold, frankincense and myrrh.

John chapter 5 verses 41 and 42.
Jesus said to them, "Your approval or disapproval means nothing to me, for I know so well, you do not have God's love within you. I know, because I have come to you representing My Father and you refuse to welcome Me, though you readily enough receive those who are not sent from Him, but represent only themselves! No wonder you cannot believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you do not care about the honor that comes from the only God!"

Revelation chapter 5 verse 8.
And as He took the scroll, the twenty-four Elders fell down before the Lamb, each with a harp and golden vials filled with incense---the prayers of the people!
