Our Woes!
There is nothing like the beauty of enjoying life. Take Jesus and experience God's world.
Lamentations chapter 3 verse 20.
For I can never forget these awful years; always my soul will live in utter shame.
Woe is you! You like the fun times. You like when things are running smoothly. Your bills are under control, your love life is not complicated and you are not putting any thought into health issues.
Sometimes there is the odd disagreement, and there will always be an unforeseen expense that comes up at the worst of times.
But what do you do when things seem like they are spiralling out of your control? Without God you are hoping for a peaceful outcome with little or no conflict. Hopefully harsh words don't create further troubles. Hopefully you are able to hold your head high and not let yourself be dragged into depression.
With God, you have someone you can trust to be there for you. To hear your cries and comfort you with wisdom and understanding. You are with God because of Jesus and what He went through so that you can have God's grace and mercies upon your life. There must have been a point where God did something to you that brought you into His trust. An eternal trust that only comes from His love for you and your faithful love for Him.
Does that mean your troubles will be over and your life will be a stroll in the park with birds singing and everything you ever need fulfilled? That would be nice but that is not reality. Our lives are filled with drama and complications. Your issues are not like mine and your thoughts don't handle issues the same way I do. So that makes us unique in who we are and how we live. God has stepped up for you, time and time again. And it is He who you trust and turn to in frustration, letting out your most inner thoughts.
You do live in peace and you do hold closely to God and His guidance. It is His words that keep you thankful to Jesus. It's ok to feel overwhelmed, you may not like it but your place with God over rides anything that this world can bring upon you.
All the more reason to seek His guidance and love. Sing praises for what He has done, and be thankful for what He is going to do. He knows the road ends with Him and He wants you to be focused on Him in a world that tries our patience.
Be responsible and do what you can with what little you have and all along do it with Jesus at your side. Hold tightly to God just as Jesus did. Talk to God, tell Him how much you trust in Him and His plan for you. Don't sit idle and let your troubles attack you. Face them with Jesus, knowing God is with you. One step at a time, knowing that eternal life is the gift God has for you.
Lamentations chapter 3 verses 21-26 say; "Yet there is one ray of hope: His compassion never ends. It is only the Lord's mercies that have kept us from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His lovingkindness begins afresh each day. My soul claims the Lord as my inheritance; therefore I will hope in Him. The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for Him, to those who seek for Him. It is good both to hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord."
Genesis chapter 12 verses 1-3 talks about what God asked Abraham to do after the death of his father. "Leave your own country behind you, and your own people, and go to the land I will guide you to. If you do, I will cause you to become the father of a great nation; I will bless you and make your name famous, and you will be a blessing to many others."
We are not to sit idle. Be a blessing to others. Help them to know that you are God's child and that they too can be His. Be creative and work hard to be responsible. Keep your eyes on Jesus and God will make you afresh each day. Jesus is risen and you are too. God is always with you and you live in His presence, thinking of Him always, thanking Him always. And the best part is, seeing Him in the midst of your struggles, just as Jesus did.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You that You are with us each and everyday. 😊
Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 and 6.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all you do and He will guide your paths.
1 John chapter 1 verse 9.
Confess your sins to God and He can be depended on to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.
Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.
Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.
