Our Home.

The beauty and assurance are in knowing the wonderful path you walk with Jesus.

Psalms chapter 91 verse 1.
We live in the shadow of the Almighty, sheltered by the God who is above all gods.

The older we get the more we realize how precocious our time here is to us. We may even want to be set free from the worries and anxieties of everyday pressures.
It is by our own will power that we can get through each day. Proverbs chapter 18 says, "A mans spirit can sustain his broken body, but when the spirit dies, what hope is left?
How do you make sense of this world? Do you live in constant sadness and grief? Is there anger and resentment stifled inside you?  Does it surface every once and awhile causing heartaches and exhaustion?
If you have not had to deal with the death of someone you were very close to then it is not that hard to float through each day, laughing and passing the time without a worry or a care. That type of person can be stubborn and unwilling to get along with others because they don't understand heartache.
You can be someone who grieves and suffers in sadness. There is nothing wrong with that as long as you are not blocking any type of happiness or any suggestion of joy. Jesus is the joy we can have, the joy of sensibility and peace.
Ephesians chapter 6 verse 13 says, "Use every piece of God's armor to resist the enemy whenever he attacks, and when it is all over, you will be standing up."
Ephesians chapter 2 verses 4-7 say, "God is so rich in His mercy; He loved us so much that even though we were spiritually dead and doomed by our sins, He gave us back our lives again when He raised Christ from the dead---only by His undeserved favor have we been saved---and lifted us up from the grave into glory along with Christ, where we sit with Him in the heavenly realms---all because of what Christ Jesus did. And now God can always point to us as examples of how very, very rich His kindness is, as shown in all He has done for us through Jesus Christ."
To make sense of something you need to believe that the path you are taking is the right one. Are you making the right investment? Should you buy a house? You like someone but you are weary of getting hurt again. Everything is going wrong and you're fed up, frustrated and disappointed. The media says do this or do that. Maybe medication or some marijuana will help. Alcohol and drugs only leave you tired, worn out and unable to think clearly.
In Matthew chapter 11 verse Jesus says, "Come to Me and I will give you rest." In John chapter 14 our hope is encouraged when Jesus tells us that He is the Way---yes, and the Truth and the Life. He tells us that there are many homes where My Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming.
Hebrews chapter 11 talks about faith. Faith is the confident assurance that something we want to happen is going to happen. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for Him.
God's gift is Jesus and through Jesus, God's promises come true. No matter what age you are or no matter what you are like or what mess you feel you are in, God has provided a place of refuge for you. You do not have to be alone with your thoughts. You deserve a good life filled with peace and joy. Our bodies are not made to withstand continual mistreatment caused by addictions or frustrations.
God through Jesus has provided a way for us to live in happiness right now and forever. A happiness that is not what you think it would be but a happiness that is filled with gratitude and grace. When you open your eyes in the morning are you already thinking about the day ahead?
A good way to start off  your day with God might be to thank your heavenly Father for the great refreshing sleep and tell Him that, "This is the day that You have made, lets rejoice in it." Give praise to the one who you have called upon, and expect Him to continue being with you. Hebrews chapter 13 says, "Stay away from the love for money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, I will never, never fail you nor forsake you. That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, The Lord is my helper and I am not afraid of anything that mere man can do to me."
Your new place in life starts the moment you trust Jesus and come to God. You will know the presence of the Holy Spirit, the joy you feel, the knowledge, the understanding and the wisdom that comes from God alone.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank You for the home we have with You now and our eternal home that you have prepared for us. 😊

1 Chronicles chapter 29 verses 11 and 12.
"Yours is the mighty power and glory and victory and majesty. Everything in the heavens and earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. We adore You as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from You alone, and You are the Ruler of all mankind; Your hand controls power and might, and it is at Your discretion that men are made great and given strength."

John chapter 14 verses 23-24.
Jesus replied," Because I will only reveal Myself to those who love Me and obey Me. The Father will love them too, and we will come to them and live with them. Anyone who does not obey Me does not love Me. And remember, I am not making up this answer to your question! It is the answer given by the Father who sent Me.

John chapter 16 verses 12-15.
Jesus told them, "Oh, there is so much more I want to tell you, but you cannot understand it now. When the Holy Spirit , who is truth, comes, He shall guide you into all truth, for He will not be presenting his own ideas, but will be passing on to you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He shall praise Me and bring Me great honor by showing you My glory. All the Father's glory is Mine; this is what I mean when I say that he will show you My glory."
