Inventive mind

Let your joy come from Jesus, for God has given you a creative mind.

Genesis chapter 1 verse 26.
Then God said, "Let us make a man---someone like ourselves, to be the master of all life upon the earth and in the skies and in the seas."

What does an inventive mind look like? It is most likely a mind that is used. That has creative thoughts and does not mind experimenting.
Maybe you surf the internet or like to read books. Maybe your a more hands on type of person. Maybe you are creative in cooking, and baking making things that stir the taste buds. Maybe you fashion and design and like to change things up from season to season.
Maybe you are a gamer and like the challenge of solving to reach the end goal. Maybe you are a gardener and like a well groomed, well maintained landscape that you and others enjoy. Maybe you like art or carpentry. Maybe you like a shinny car that is in top working order or maybe you like the challenge of exercise, there is nothing like the great outdoors, a brisk walk or bike ride.
Maybe you just love your family and the life you have. It is your choice and whatever it is you enjoy doing, truly enjoy it. Remember your life is there for you to be creative with. It's nice to have a stable life that is well rounded and filled with the goodness of helping others. But the problem is people are fidgety, letting their minds toss around like the waves of the ocean.
Genesis chapter 1 verse 31 says, "Then God looked over all that He had made and it was excellent in every way." It's nice to be proud of our accomplishments. All the hard work, trials and errors that were made make the accomplishment very self gratifying. There may be criticism, there may be praise, the thing is you feel good and that gives you purpose.
James chapter 1 verses 5-8 say, "If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; He will not resent it. But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way, and then that. If you do not ask with faith, do not expect the Lord to give you any solid answer."
You are not someone who just sits around from day to day. You have thoughts and you respond to those thoughts. Do you remember coming out of high school? You had to take control otherwise you would end up relying on others to provide and shelter you. And that is no fun because others are always on your case to better yourself.
Relying on others is the way of life. The ones who have an influence on you, were once where you are, relying on others to help them along. So how do we make the right decisions? Are you any better than others? To be accountable you first need to show interest topped with a happy energetic attitude of willing to step up. With fresh ideas, filled with concerns for others and ready to work hard.
Proverbs chapter 2 verses 6-10 say, "For the Lord grants wisdom! His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding. He grants good sense to the godly---His saints. He is their shield, protecting them and guarding their pathway. He shows how to distinguish right from wrong, how to find the right decision every time. For wisdom and truth will enter the very center of your being, filling your life with joy."
You need to be pleasing to others. Remember they are the ones who have the attitudes and the control. Now, there are many influences that are ready to mix you up. Sickness, death, and desires are the main ones. The path ahead is clear. You need to work hard or that path will get covered over, causing you to work all the harder at the mercies of others.
When you are young, you are easily influenced. You need to trust someone who will show you right from wrong. You quickly become aware of all the things people do to make a living. So you make a choice. Is your choice going to be right? You don't know but at least you are willing to try something. Schools are there to teach and pass on to you the wisdom of others. The job you choose was created by someone, so you can learn what that job requires.
If God was the one who formed you inside your mother and then caused you to breathe your first breath, then He is the only one who knows what your life will turn out like. Wow, God with all His power and might, created you, gave breath to you and has left you to be guided by others. Or has He? We already know there are good people and bad people. Young minds quickly soak in all that is around them and then self dependence develops into disappointments and attitudes.
Having things to keep you busy helps occupy our thoughts, unless those thoughts have become overwhelming, then it seems like there is no end. It takes an inventive mind to seek and find direction. God is way more than a hope. Even though He is unseen, you can still be influenced by His love. It's funny how the mind works and how emotions control the way we act and the words we speak.
God has given His Son Jesus as our way to having life with Him. He is more than you can comprehend and He wants to take care of you. After-all you are His child and He wants you to call Him Father. It does take an inventive mind to trust in something you cannot see, but all good things start as a thought and develop into something.
God can be the light you need, to be with you all the time. Imagine, being creative in trusting God at all times. That means you are not alone in sadness and confusion. It means you can let out your most secretive inner thoughts and watch with joy as He provides solutions. You always smile when your inventive mind has created something that is beautiful. The same is with God as He watches you work with Jesus to be His creation filled with love for Him.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for the ability to be creative with You. 😊

Revelation chapter 21 verse 4.
God will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. All of that has gone forever.

Hebrews chapter 4 verses 13-16.
He knows about everyone, everywhere. Everything about us is bare and wide open to the all-seeing eyes of our living God; nothing can be hidden from Him to whom we must explain all that we have done. But Jesus the Son of God is our great High Priest who has gone to heaven itself to help us; therefore let us never stop trusting Him. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, since He had the same temptations we do, though He never once gave way to them and sinned. So let us come boldly to the very throne of God and stay there to receive His mercy and to find grace to help us in our times of need.

Luke chapter 11 verses 9 and10.
Jesus told them, "And so it is with prayer---keep on asking and you will keep on getting; keep on looking and you will keep on finding; knock and the door will be opened. Everyone who asks, receives; all who seek, find; and the door is opened to everyone who knocks."
