Our Love for Christ

Not everyone will want to listen, but you know the truth of Jesus, for once you did not want to listen either.

Colossians chapter 1 verses 28 and 29.
"So everywhere we go we talk about Christ to all who will listen, warning them and teaching them as well as we know how. We want to be able to present each one to God, perfect because of what Christ has done for each of them. This is my work, and I can do it only because Christ's mighty energy is at work within me."

What an amazing Father we have. His forgiveness and love is forever. From the moment we are conceived to the last breath we take and beyond, God is with us. He knew about us before we were even brought into this world. And because of His Son, Jesus, we have a way of coming to know Him as our heavenly Father, our creator.
We may get misled, we may be deaf and blind to who He really is and the purpose He has in our lives. But to those who hear His words and to those who see for themselves the touch of Jesus upon their lives, God will bless with a life of living in His presence.
How do you slow down the days? Life is going by so fast! I would like to say that age does not matter but it does. Our bodies ache with pains, that we never experienced before. Our minds may be clear and strong, filled with adventure and dreams, but we are no longer as agile and vibrant as our youth gave us.
Not being able to do the things we used to can weigh heavy upon us. Making us depressed and sad. We quickly give up the dreams and seek solace in other things. Those things can lead to laziness and bad health. Even if you are someone who exercises, someone who cares about what they eat and leads an active lifestyle, our aging bodies will keep us in check and let us know what our abilities are.
People can just lay down and let life take it's toll upon them or they can try to find other ways to be happy and satisfied. God wants us to know Him and what His plans are for us. Each of us has a place in life with God and He sent Jesus so that we may seek Him out and find out what His plans are.
So far you have had to be creative with your ideas, only to stumble and fumble your way along. What if everyday you woke up and gave thanks to God for the day ahead, not worrying about what it may bring or how it will turn out, as long as God is with you. Take your ideas to God and let Him guide you through them. He will show you the way, so that you will be amazed and thankful to Him for His blessings and love.
He knows our weaknesses and our abilities. If you are going to walk along the paths of doing right and living a clean life then He will be there for you. If you choose to follow your own paths then you will be seeking guidance from, who knows where, and hoping that it all works out for the best.
I could talk about how failures bring frustration. I could talk about the attitudes of people affected by your mistakes, but why do that when I'm telling you that you do not have to be alone in your adventures. For most of us it takes a lifetime of frustrations to finally find Jesus. Fed up and with no place to go maybe you decide it is time to ask God for help and who do you find? Jesus!
He has been waiting for you to call out. He hears your sadness and comes and takes you by the hand so that you find your way. You are understanding everything you are experiencing, yet you are cautious. You know you feel better and your ideas have been successful and people seem to be responsive to what you are saying. It can only be Jesus working through you!
You think for a moment! The only change you have done is to ask God for help. The more you spend time with Him the less burdens you seem to have. Your amazed and bewildered. You feel good and a sense of peace. All you want is to know more and more about what is happening to you. That is what Jesus is showing you. God's love for you!
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You that through Jesus we are filled with Your righteousness. 😊

Isaiah chapter 43 verses 7 and 8.
"All who claim Me as their God will come, for I have made them for My glory; I created them. Bring them back---blind as they are and deaf when I call (Although they see and hear!)"

Isaiah chapter 48 verse 18.
"Oh, that you had listened to My laws! Then you would have peace flowing like a gentle river, and great waves of righteousness."

   Romans chapter 8 verses 12-14.
"You have no obligations whatever to your old sinful nature to do what it begs you to do. For if you keep on following it you are lost and will perish, but if through the power of the Holy Spirit you crush it and it's evil deeds, you shall live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God."

Psalms chapter 90 verse 12.
"Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should."
