Our job.

Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.
"Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."

In Mark chapter 6, Jesus is referred to as a carpenter. The son of Mary and Joseph. These references bring home the fact that He was an average everyday worker just like you or I. Planning is an essential part for gaining the knowledge needed for the tasks that are ahead.
In order to do a job properly, you have to prepare so that you have all the necessary tools to successfully see the task through to completion. Mistakes can be costly and leave people frustrated.
When the time was right Jesus began His ministry. First, He established a life as a carpenter. He was baptized and tempted by Satan. Then at the age of thirty He began teaching people about a new life that can be had with God. He used miracles of healing and restoring life, as proof of His claims to be the Messiah.
People had a hard time accepting Him. They loved His healing powers, but could not get past the fact that He was from Nazareth. How could He be the Son of God when He was born to Mary? Jesus knew this would happen and was aware that only those who God allowed to understand would believe.
Thank God that we see the whole picture today. People still have a hard time accepting Jesus, but for those who do believe, their lives are filled with the joy of God's love. Thankful that God sent Jesus and the peace of eternal life.
Jesus was probably the best carpenter there ever was. He was probably successful at what ever tasks He set His mind to. God promises to be with all people who come to Him through Jesus. The bible is filled with the testimonies of people whose lives have been touched by the love of God. He promises that your life will be filled with astonishing blessings, that you will praise and thank Him for.
Your tasks will be successful and properly done. You will be protected and guided away from wrongful living. This is all done so that you are filled with the joy of God and life with Him. You will begin to talk about Him and share Jesus with those who do not know Him.
Jesus lived and worked just as we do. He was blessed with the love of God and could not contain what He knew. Our lives are no different. As you seek out Jesus, you will understand that He is the Messiah and the Son of God. You will be filled with the Holy Spirit and the blessings of God will forever change your life.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for coming into our lives. It is your love that we want all people to know. 😊

1 Peter chapter 4 verse 11.
"Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies, so that God will be glorified through Jesus Christ."

Proverbs chapter 14 verse 14.
"The backslider gets bored with himself; the godly mans life is exciting."

Matthew chapter 11 verses 29 and 30.
Jesus replied, "wear My yoke---for it fits perfectly---and let Me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens."
