Who Cares?

Psalms chapter 121 verses 5-8.
"Jehovah Himself is caring for you! He is your defender. He protects you day and night. He keeps you from all evil, and preserves your life. He keeps His eye upon you as you come and go, and always guards you."

Would you ever think that God, whom you can't see or touch would be able to keep such amazing promises?
There are two sides to life. One is living without God and the other is life with Him. The Bible was written by people whom God blessed with the words to speak. The Bible is God's love put down on paper, used to let people know of God and His love for all people.
Once you start reading it you find yourself relating all that is around you to God. For example, God created to world and the heavens and stars. The warm sunshine and rain. He created people and loves what He created.
You can't help but question the way your life has been without God in it. So far you have been living a good life where you get around and meet people, enjoy restaurants and food. Your job has provided the money you need to get by, and sometimes the bills become a little larger than you would like them to be. You enjoy sports and a walk in the woods. You have a family and several friends.
Aging though does not stop coming. People we care about may no longer be here and your health is not as strong as it used to be. Maybe you wonder why we have to age and why people you care so much for have are here with us one moment and then gone the next. Maybe you just accept the inevitable and continue on living the way you do, without caring about God.
Hopefully your heart has not become cold and bitter towards life. Everyone has had love in their lives at one time or another and you remember how good it felt to be around those who cared. The laughter, the conversations and the feelings of intimacy. Well, that is what God is offering you.
God sent Jesus so that He could be given the glory of being our way, to a life with Him.  Jesus is a gift from God. Nothing we do can get God to love us. We can't buy His love and He is not impressed by attention seeking. It is only through Jesus, that God has made the way possible for us to have a relationship with Him. You become one of His family where He loves you unconditionally as one of His very own.
Now, your days will look different than before. There is a spring in your step. You have God walking with you. You live with Jesus and hold close to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is confidence that you are forever loved and will never be alone or without family.
The blessings of God are real. His promises are real and as one of His children He will keep a close eye on you. He loves you talking to Him. He loves your gratefulness and your love for Him. Now you can see clearly that everything around you has come from God and you are so thankful to experience life with Him.
You wonder how could I have ever lived the way I did before. I was missing out on true happiness, where you are content and at peace. Eternal life is one of God's many promises and that gives you peace knowing that God is always and forever with you.
Thank you Father for Jesus and showing us our way home. Where we will forever live with You. 😊

Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8-10.
Because of His kindness you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves, it too is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good we have done, so none of us can take any credit for it. It is God Himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus; and long ages ago He planned that we should spend these lives in helping others."

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 12.
"Now we can come fearlessly right into God's presence, assured of His glad welcome when we come with Christ and trust in Him."

Ephesians chapter 4 verses 31 and 32.
"Stop being mean, bad-tempered and angry. Quarreling , harsh words and dislike of others should have no place in your lives. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ."
