His Light!

Hebrews chapter 11 verse 6.
"You can never please God without faith, without depending on Him. Anyone who wants to come to God must believe that there is a God and that He rewards those who sincerely look for Him."


What are you looking for in life? Nothing? (I mean do you just take what comes and deal with it as you see fit) or do you have expectations of what your life should look like?
   Everyone is pretty much the same. We are humans and all were born into this world, we grow in it and eventually die. Sure there are some that are better off than others, but they have their problems to deal with just as you do. Maybe it's finances or greed. It could be the loss of someone you loved or failing health that struggles with finding hope.
   At what point in life will you recognize God for who He is? Are you just going to keep on ignoring Him, thinking that you know what is best for you? I read in Exodus chapter 10 how God brought darkness to Egypt for 3 days, but the area where the Israelite's lived, had sunlight. They were unaware of what was going on until Moses told them. Would you rather live, denying that God is real? Or would you rather just enjoy the fact that He is real and that He is living all around you?
   There may come a time in your life when you will call out to God and ask for His help. He is there waiting for you to do just that. He wants for you to call to Him, believing that He can help you. He wants you to believe that He is not just a figment of imagination, but is real and He wants your love. He wants for you to praise Him and look to Him as your Father.
   What do you think peace looks like? Is it a quiet life where you have very little problems to deal with or is it knowing that you are loved by Jesus? There is a Light so bright that when you see it you will never want to leave. It is there with you always and fills you with contentment and love.
   That place is found through Jesus and living with God. You see it in your prayers, you are there when temptation calls and thankful as you walk in His Light everyday. And that same Light reflects through you in all you do and is seen by others in your actions and spoken words.
   There is a joy and confidence that keeps you focused on the right paths with Jesus. You no longer want to take part in what you thought was right and caused you nothing but extreme heartache. You live in the Light of God because you are happy to be there. Forever grateful to God for Jesus and His Light that led you out of the crappy life you struggled with.
   Thank you Father for Jesus and the songs of praise that have replaced the wandering lost soul.😊

Hebrews chapter 11 verses 15 and 16.
"If they wanted to, they could have gone back to the good things of this world. But they did not want to. They were living for heaven. And now God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has made a heavenly city for them.   

2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 7.
For the Holy Spirit, God's gift, does not want you to be afraid of people, but to be wise and strong, and to love them and enjoy being with them."

Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
