Everyday living.

Psalms chapter 25 verses 8-10.
"The Lord is good and glad to teach the proper path to all who go astray; He will teach the ways that are right and best to those who humbly turn to Him. And when we obey Him, every path He guides us on is fragrant with His loving kindness and His truth."

Everyday is a struggle. We don't know what things we are going to face or if we will handle them properly and not cause our lives grief. Maybe we had a rough night sleeping and wake up irritable. Or maybe a family member is not feeling all that great. So, you wash off the dirt and head out ready to face whatever comes. The traffic is heavy and others are trying to get by you. it is a good thing you have your coffee with you.
You get to work and people seem to be ready to begin their day, just as you are. The first challenge comes, then the second, so far so good, and you have the experience to answer what has come before you. It would be great if each day went smooth, but then something comes up that adds stress and added pressure from others. You are doing your best, but it doesn't seem to be enough. It could be something from work or maybe an outside influence. Whatever the issues are, they have now occupied your thoughts, as you search for the needed answers.
Do you put added pressure on others, because of what you are dealing with? You try looking at all the options, and maybe you find a path that can help somewhat. Others may get affected by the paths you choose and you have to decide if you seek help or not. Finally, you are seeing you can't do it alone. You need to talk it out and get some guidance. Whew! You made it through that issue and another day. What does tomorrow bring?
You still have love and people who care. You still have a job and shelter. There is food on the plate and your car is still working ok. You are somewhat stable and ready to face another day. You have a drink, maybe two and unwind, putting your feet up. You are happy and doze off exhausted. The eyes open and it is another day with, "who knows what will happen"? A cup of java helps start your day.
So far it has been all about you. It is your life and you are the one who has to deal with attitudes, health and finances. What if you focused on trusting God to take care of each day and all that happens in it? Now you would be free to speak to God about every challenge that comes you way, as you trust in Him to walk you on the right paths.
Are you skeptical? Finding it hard to let yourself be that vulnerable? When you call out to God, you have come to the point where you are hoping that He is the answer for your situation. What you find is far more than you expected. You find strength and comfort. You are no longer totally focused on you and your problems, but are talking to God and getting to know Jesus. You are able to get the much needed rest, leaving you with a clear mind. You feel good and thank God for His help. You are ready to face whatever outcome will happen, because you believe God is with you.
You feel a joy and a peace that you have forever wanted, so you hold onto that and begin walking the right paths with Jesus. You will meet others who will tell you of their journey with Jesus and how they will never look back, to a life without Him. The bible is filled with God's stories of how He has touched peoples lives. It is where you will get to know our Lord Jesus.
Take the pressures of life and replace them with God. You will learn patience and gain an insight of love and caring. You will humbly help others and work with them to get things done. That is only the beginning, of a life with Jesus, that will change you forever.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the paths that You lead us on. 😊

Psalms chapter 25 verses 4-7.
"Show me the path where I should go, O Lord; point out the right road for me to walk. Lead me; teach me, for You are the God who gives me salvation. I have no hope except in You. Overlook my youthful sins. O Lord! Look at me instead through eyes of mercy and forgiveness, through eyes of everlasting love and kindness."

Job chapter 8 verses 8-11.
"Read the history books and see---for we were born but yesterday and know so little; our days here on earth are as transient as shadows. But the wisdom of the past will teach you. The experience of others will speak to you, reminding you that those whom forget God have no hope."

Philippians chapter 3 verse 12.
"I don't mean to say that I am perfect. I haven't learned all I should even yet, but I keep working toward that day when I will finally be all that Christ saved me for and wants me to be."
