Feeling Relief

1 Samuel chapter 17 verse 45.
"You come to me with a sword and a spear, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of the armies of heaven and of Israel---the very God whom you have defied."

We all face times where we are challenged. When worry sets in and sadness makes us feel like crying. When we feel like we are unable to do anything that will help smooth over the inevitable or even to prevent it from happening. A lot of questions will fill our thoughts as we try to come up with the best scenario's to get the right words to speak and force the right outcome to happen. It is not easy dealing with life and it can cause us great discomfort. We are restless until we face our giant problem, hoping for a peaceful outcome.
Why is it, that we think we are facing these issues on our own? Maybe because it feels personal and you are the one who is going to have to deal with it.
When you belong to God's family, you are never alone. In fact, God is watching over you always. He knows your restlessness and wants to help you. With God, you will know what Jesus went through and also experience the outcome of trusting in God. Just as Jesus was saved, so you too can be. Let God's will be done and trust in Him to walk you through the rough times. You are not alone. Pray to Him and ask for the wisdom you need. Be prepared by relying on Him. You have to work at being prepared by keeping your focus on the love of God.
You will find out that the outcome has already happened before you even get there because God wants you to know that He's already taken care of it. That is how He builds your trust. You will feel relief and like the weight of stress has been lifted from your shoulders.
Like King David who faced a giant, He did it with God at His side. Like Jesus in the garden, He was strengthened by the power of God. The bible is filled with stories of people who faced all sorts of problems and by trusting in God they found the confidence, the right words and the love, that brought glory and honor to God.
So you are not alone, Pray to God, trusting in Him to stand beside you holding your hand and guiding you through. Call out to Jesus and bask in the glory of His light.
Thank-you Father for the joy of life with you. For holding us close as we face the issues of everyday life. Thank-you for Jesus.😊

Matthew chapter 26 verse 38 and 39.
Then Jesus told them, "My soul is crushed with horror and sadness to the point of death . . . stay here . . . stay awake with me."
He fell to the ground and prayed, "My Father! If it is possible, let this cup be taken away from me. But I want your will, not mine."

1 Samuel chapter 17 verse 28.
But when Davids oldest brother, Eliab, heard David talking like that, he was angry. "What are you doing around here anyway? he demanded. "What about the sheep you are supposed to be taking care of? I know what a cocky brat you are, you just want to see the battle!"

Jeremiah chapter 33 verse 3.
The Lord says, "Ask  me and I will tell you some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here."
