Time.
No matter where we are or what we are doing the joy of each day is seen in what God has given to us. Thank You Jesus.
Psalms chapter 90 verse 10.
Seventy years are given us! And some may even live to eighty. But even the best of these years are often emptiness and pain; soon they disappear, and we are gone.
There are 60 seconds in one minute. There are 60 minutes in one hour.
When time goes by we cannot get it back. And it seems to go by so quickly. Are your days filled with what you want to do? Are you obligated to others? Do you live your life to please others? Are you confused about death?
You are alive and breathing. Each day you talk with others. You experience love, anger and hatred. The day comes no matter whether you want it to or not. Even if you try to hide, you will be found. So how do we make sense of it all?
One way is to know God and His love for all people. He says this is His world and we have the privilege to live in it. He also tell us that eternal life is His to give. And to those who live in the world with Him, there is no ending but only a beginning.
Revelation chapter 21 says, "Look, the home of God is now among men, and He will live with them and they will be His people; yes, God Himself will be among them. He will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. All of that has gone forever."
Our troubles will not go away, but we can be guided and loved by Christ under the watchful eye of God. It is all done by faith! We have to believe that there is a God and that He sent His Son, who died so that we could have life with God. Jesus will return some day and when He does He will take all those who believe in Him to eternal life with Him. In the meantime we get to live with His Holy Spirit. Which is the Truth of all that God is.
In John chapter 16 Jesus said to them, "When the Holy Spirit, who is truth, comes, He shall guide you into all truth, for He will not presenting His own ideas, but will be passing onto you what He has heard. He will tell you about the future. He shall praise Me and bring Me great honor by showing you My glory. All the Father's glory is Mine; this is what I mean when I say that He will show you My glory. In just a little while I will be gone, and you will see Me no more; but just a little while after that, and you will see Me again."
When God enters into our lives we are met with His Son, Jesus. It is He who lifts us up into our daily living with God. And it His Holy Spirit who fills us with the joy of being in God's presence all day, everyday and forever. That is why we are happy. No longer alone but able to praise worship God for all He gives to us.
Jesus continues to tell us in John chapter 16, "I have told you all this so that you will have peace of heart and mind. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world."
What you do with your time is your business. No one is going to tell you how to live your life. God gives us direction and a home. If you believe that He is the Creator then what joy there is to live each day in the presence of the one who gave you life. It was in your time that you came to God.
Mark chapter 1 verse 15 says, "The next morning Jesus was up long before daybreak and went out alone into the wilderness to pray."
Like Jesus you want to spend time with God. There is no better comfort, peace or tranquil place to be. Your joy comes from your love for Christ and the love God has for you.
Thank You Father for Jesus. We are here, we cannot help the fact that we are here. You have given us a joy that makes each day know it is from You. 😊
Philippians chapter 4 verses 6 and 7.
Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs and do not forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
Psalms chapter 90 verses 4-6.
A thousand years are but as yesterday to You! They are like a single hour! We glide along the tides of time as swiftly as a racing river, and vanish as quickly as a dream. We are like grass that is green in the morning but mowed down and withered before the evening shadows fall.
Psalms chapter 90 verse 12.
Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should.
