Work hard at it!

It's exhausting all this hard work. Let Jesus show you how humble and gentle life is with Him and you will find the rest you need.

1 Corinthians chapter 2 verses 15 and 16.
But the spiritual man has insight into everything, and that bothers and baffles the man of the world, who can't understand him at all. How could he? For certainly he has never been one to know the Lord's thoughts, or to discuss them with Him, or to move the hands of God by prayer. But, strange as it seems, we Christians actually do have within us a portion of the very thoughts and mind of Christ.

You work hard to have a life with God, because you enjoy being in His company. You have grown to love Him and to worship Him for who He is. You came to Him and He did something to you that left you in awe. You are filled with thankfulness.
Luke chapter 10 verses 41 and 42 say, "But the Lord said to her, Martha, dear friend, you are so upset over all these details! There is really only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it---and I won't take it away from her!"
It's easy for our minds to wander and get caught up in the moment of what needs to be done. Our work load can become overwhelming, leaving us exhausted and short tempered. Without God in our lives we are on our own to deal with our lives as we see fit. All your heartaches and disappointments form our opinions and it is by those opinions that others see who we are. With God we are given direction. We are to know Jesus and live as He would, filled with the love of God's wonderful grace and mercies.
It is by the way that we live that others see the peace and contentment we have for all we do. It is because Jesus is with us that we do not mind helping and living a life that is pleasing to God. Our taste of life without God was totally different than what we live in now. We do not forget our past and the wonderful sensations of hit and miss moments, but they were just that, here for a moment and then gone. Leaving us empty, vulnerable and searching for another exciting thing to do.
Lots of people live for themselves and no one is going to tell them any different. They have become hardened and content to accept life as it comes. They are the only ones who can take care of themselves. They like others to see things their way, so that they are not left alone, to deal with questions and thoughts that they would rather not think about.
God is real and He is the one who created the world that is around us and He is the creator of our bodies and it is through Him that life was breathed into us. We may have wandered away from Him. We may choose to live as we think and we may not want to put any thought into who God is. But the facts remain about Him being the creator. You can believe in science or what ever makes you have peace with it, but God is one of those choices and a good solid foundation to walk upon.
Now instead of being on your own to make decisions, you can choose God and find out who Jesus is. That will be the beginning of a journey that will forever bring you peace and contentment. No matter what it is you are doing or no matter where you are. His promise of eternal life begins the moment you believe in Him.
1 John chapter 5 says, "It is God who gives us eternal life and that this life is in His Son. So whoever has God's Son has life; whoever does not have His Son does not have life."
The apostle John wrote this so that those who believe in the Son of God would know that they have eternal life. And that God hears our prayers and we can be sure that He will answer us.
When you belong to a family, you are connected to those who are closest to you. You love them and care about them. You may think you know everything about them but everyone has hidden secrets and anxieties. So you do your best to get along and hopefully have a life long healthy relationship.
God knows everything about His children. There is nothing hidden from God.
Hebrews chapter 4 verse 13 says, "He knows about everyone, everywhere. Everything about us is bare and wide open to the all-seeing eyes of our living God; nothing can be hidden from Him to whom we must explain all that we have done."
To some it may seem intrusive, even feeling vulnerable, when we think someone is watching over our lives like God says He does. But it also gives us reassurance that God; the Almighty and all powerful Creator calls us His children and wants to care for us, for we are His family.
We may have wandered away, we may have made a mess of our lives but through Jesus, His Son, we can come home to Him. There are no strings attached, only love and forgiveness. And that leaves you in awe and filled with gratitude. Who would do such a thing for you?
In John chapter 3 verses 16 and 17, God promises saying; "For God so loves the world that He gave His only Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it but to save it."
We have free will to make our own decisions.
Proverbs chapter 3 verses 5 and 6 say, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."
Live a life that is pleasing to God. He is the one who has given you life.
In Colossians chapter 1 the apostle Paul says that the way you live should always please the Lord and honor Him, so that you will always be doing good, kind things for others, while all the time you are learning to know God better and better.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your gift. The gift of life with You. 😊

2 Timothy chapter 2 verses 15-17.
Work hard so God can say to you, "Well done." Be a good workman, one who does not need to be ashamed when God examines your work. Know what His Word says and means. Steer clear of foolish discussions which lead people into the sin of anger with each other. Things will be said that will burn and hurt for a long time to come.

Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.
Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.

Philippians chapter 4 verse 13.
I can do everything God asks me to do with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power.

James chapter 4 verses 13-17.
Look here, you people who say, "Today or tomorrow we are going to such and such a town, stay there a year, and open up a profitable business." How do you know what is going to happen tomorrow? For the length of your lives is as uncertain as the morning fog---now you see it; soon it is gone. What you ought to say is this; "If the Lord wants us to, we shall live and do this or that." Otherwise you will be bragging about your own plans, and such self-confidence never please God. Remember, too, that knowing what is right to do and then not doing it is sin.

Galatians chapter 2 verse 19.
For it was through reading the Scripture that I came to realize that I could never find God's favor by trying---and failing---to obey the laws. I came to realize that acceptance with God comes by believing in Christ."
