Healing Power
Numbers chapter 21 verses 8 and 9.
Then the Lord told Moses, "Make a bronze replica of one of these snakes and attach it to the top of a pole; anyone who is bitten shall live if he simply looks at it!" So Moses made the replica, and whenever anyone who had been bitten looked at the bronze snake, he recovered.
Fear comes in many forms. It prods and pokes at us, playing with our thoughts and it can even prevent us from moving. It can make us worry, creating anxieties that make our minds wander through one scenario after another.
In Acts chapter 26, Paul is telling his experiences with Jesus to King Agrippa. He said that one day he was walking with some friends when suddenly a light brighter than the sun shone down upon them. And he heard a voice speaking asking him, "Why are you persecuting me? You are only hurting yourself." He asked who was speaking and the reply was "I am Jesus the one who you are persecuting. I have appeared to you to appoint you as My servant and My witness. You are to tell the world about this experience and about the many other occasions when I shall appear to you. And I will protect you. I am sending you out to tell your story, to open the eyes of those who will listen. So that they may know their true conditions in which they live, so that they may repent and live in the light of God instead of Satin's darkness, so that they may receive forgiveness for their sins and God's inheritance along with all people everywhere whose sins have been cleansed away, who are set apart by faith in Me."
It takes a lot for a person to over come fear and face their issues with confidence. So many of us fail time and time again because we do not have the right support needed to strengthen us. It is so easy to give in to our own will and to stay true to the rules in which we want to do better with.
It takes something completely off the wall. Something that only you can take hold of and believe in. It's not something that someone else has planned for you. It is not some place that you need to attend in order to be held accountable. It is not a miracle drug with some sort of power to take you through each situation without failure.
You may think that it is only through your own strength that you will find the healing power you need, but that is not true. God is a power far above anything you can ever think of. He is the one who sent His Son, Jesus so that you can know there is a place of salvation. It will be through the eye opening experience you have with Jesus, that you will have a story to tell.
Psalms chapter 40 says; "I waited patiently for God to help me; then He listened and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, of praises to our God. Now many will hear of the glorious things He did for me, and stand in awe before the Lord, and put their trust in Him. Many blessings are given to those who trust in the Lord, and have no confidence in those who are proud, or who trust in idols."
If you are tired and worn down. Maybe you are curious and want to know more. Whatever your reasons are, the bible has been made by the prophets of God to lead us in life with Him. It brings us to know Jesus and who the Holy Spirit is.
God wants you to walk with Him everywhere you go. He wants you to rely upon Him in all you do. He loves to hear from you. He loves you talking to Him as you would to a trusted friend. With nothing hidden, with no fear or concern, but with the innocence of a child, come get to know your heavenly Father. He will take care of you and your thoughts will be at peace as you trust in Him. Your joy will overflow with happiness and awe.
The healing power that you seek so hard to find, that you so long for, is only a prayer away. There is no twisting the words to suit your needs. There is only truth and the privilege of being in God's presence. You must look to find, you must knock to know and you must enter in order to understand. You will be nervous, you will be hesitant, you will know that what you are doing is right and you will choose to continue. From the moment you look to God to find the answers you want, you will get to know Jesus and the wonderful love of God.
Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for the healing power that comes from living with You. 😊
Revelation chapter 22 verses 16 and 17.
"I Jesus have sent My angel to you to tell the churches all these things. I am both David's Root and his Descendant. I am the bright Morning Star. The Spirit and the bride say, "Come" Let each one who hears them say the same, "Come." Let the thirsty one come---anyone who wants to; let him come and drink the Water of Life without charge."
2 Kings chapter 18 verses 4 and 5.
He removed the shrines on the hills, broke down the obelisks, knocked down the shameful idols of Asherah, and broke up the bronze serpent that Moses had made, because the people of Israel had begun to worship it by burning incense to it; even though as King Hezekiah pointed out to them, it was merely a piece of bronze. He trusted very strongly in the Lord God of Israel.
1 Corinthians chapter 6 verse 12.
I can do anything I want to if Christ has not said no, but some of these things are not good for me. Even if I'm allowed to do them, I'll refuse to if I think they might get such a grip on me that I can not easily stop when I want to.
James chapter 1 verse 17.
But whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God, the Creator of all light and He shines forever without change or shadow.
