2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 10 and 11.
"And He did help us, and saved us from terrible death; yes, and we expect Him to do it again and again. But you must help us too, by praying for us. For much thanks and praise will go to God from you who see His wonderful answers to your prayers!"
Speaking to God means we are trusting in Him to hear what we are talking about. And not to just hear us babbling on but, to listen to each and every word we are saying with concern and love.
We stress over the most simplest of things. Mainly over how others are going to feel about the things we do. Are our endeavors going to meet up to the expectations of others? Are the words that we speak going to cause an argument or will they be accepted with love and peace?
In the past it was very hard to be forgiven by God and even harder to receive His blessings. God loves all people and He wants their undivided attention and respect. He does not want people to criticize Him or mock Him. The disciples were told to wait until the Holy Spirit entered into their lives.
God sent Jesus so that people would be able to come and live with Him as their Father. It was through His death and resurrection that made it possible for all people to speak directly to God. The smallest of prayers are heard and for those who believe that God is real and that Jesus is His Son, then God's Holy Spirit is blessed upon them.
All people can live with God and be blessed with His love. There are no favorites in God's family. All people are equal and see Him as their Father. Obey His guidance and rules for you are living under His roof.
It is by seeing the results of our prayers that we are encouraged and strengthened. Those who are closest to us will see the happiness in your life. There is nothing that you are not thankful to God for. From the moment you open your eye's, after the best restful sleep ever, through the dodging of life's challenges and into the evening where you say thank you to God for Jesus and His love. That is living with God.
You rely upon Him and trust Him to guide you. You talk to Him and expect His answers. You are so happy that you tell others about Him. There is no life better than life with God and knowing Jesus.
Thank you Father for Jesus and for hearing us when we needed you to help us. For hearing us when we say thank you. 😊
Proverbs chapter 2 verses 3-5.
"Yes, if you want better insight and discernment, and are searching for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure, then wisdom will be given you, and knowledge of God Himself; you will soon learn the importance of reverence for the Lord and of trusting Him.
Jude chapter 1 verse 20.
"But you, dear friends, must build up your lives ever more strongly upon the foundation of our holy faith, learning to pray in the power and strength of the Holy Spirit."
Psalms chapter 16 verse 11.
"You have let me experience the joys of life and the exquisite pleasures of your own eternal presence."
