Confidence in seeing.
1 John chapter 1 verse 7.
"If we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from every sin."
Nothing hurts more than to affect a persons pride. What is it that you value? Your job? Your family? Maybe it is the stuff you have. What if they are taken away from you? How do you feel?
Are you angry and thrown into confusion? Do you wallow in the depression? Now suddenly what you thought was comfort and ease are turned into heavy concern and the need to create a plan.
What do you see God as? Is He someone you have heard about that makes all these promises but you are unwilling to let have control of your life? Was Jesus just stirring up the crowds to create trouble? You need to ask yourself, how far are you willing to allow God and Jesus into your life?
I guess the best answer would be; Live now in the presence of God! Why wait for heaven. He is your Father and Jesus wants you know that you can come to Him now. God sent Jesus to show us the way and to show us the wonderful love that God has for all people who come to Him.
Our lives are a never ending battle with worry caused by a sudden change in circumstances or the concerns of what if "this or that" happens to us. Anxieties can leave us drained and helpless. Being prepared helps to ease any transitions that may come along, but there still remains the affects of sudden change. What you have become comfortable with now has to be regained.
The bible talks of darkness and light. In darkness it is hard to see and to navigate our way. In the light there is no issues. That is why God is the Light and Jesus is the way to find and maintain our lives in the Light of God.
When we see clearly, we can walk with confidence knowing what is coming and avoiding the things that might cause us trouble. God opens our eyes to see Him and the beautiful world that He created for us to live in. He gives us the peace we need, as we trust in Him to guide us through the rough times.
When we are young, we quickly learn the importance of education and diversity. The more training we have in the work field makes us more valuable and helps us if we find ourselves out of work. Jesus had to fight through the many questions and doubts of the people but He held fast to His love for God.
God does not want us to be distant from Him. He wants us to bring our worries and concerns to Him. He wants us to know the love and peace that comes from trusting in Him. Jesus walked right past the mobs and you can too. He is your Father and wants nothing but the best for you. So if you find yourself in a situation, talk to God about it. Hold close to the bible and it's words. Listen close to the sermons of God's preachers and let the joy of singing worship and praise to Him fill your heart.
All you are is from Him and all that you will be is from Him. Step up and learn something new and be confident that you are not alone, but that Jesus is with you. God will guide you through and you will be thankful and joyful that your life is not about your issues but, about Jesus and God's love for us.
Thank you Father for Jesus and our lives in Your house, with You taking care of us. 😊
1 John chapter 1 verses 5 and 6.
"This is the message God has given us to pass onto you: That God is Light and in Him is no darkness at all. So if we say we are His friends, but go on living in spiritual darkness and sin, we are lying."
Luke chapter 10 verses 23 and 24.
Then turning to the twelve disciples, He said quietly, "How privileged you are to see what you have seen. Many a prophet and king of old has longed for these days, to see and hear what you have seen and heard!"
Isaiah chapter 32 verses 3 and 4.
"Then at last the eyes of Israel will open wide to God; His people will listen to His voice. Even the hotheads among them will be full of sense and understanding, and those who stammer in uncertainty will speak out plainly." (Jesus has made us all God's children and He blesses all of us with His wonderful love.)
